The standard advice today is to wait until puberty ends for a cosmetic rhinoplasty. Most teens end puberty before age 18, with 15-16 being common ages to start exploring their surgical options. Each patient is different, making it impossible to give precise guidelines about the ideal age to consider rhinoplasty, however, Dr Tadros's recommendation: as long as a child's nose is large enough, and their facial structure is developed, he or she is old enough for rhinoplasty.
