Here was a particularly good day on this remote, clear-water river. This time of year, the larger fish return in the fall to spawn. While they aren’t necessarily there to feed, you can still get some bites. Although it’s generally slower than in the spring, the quality of the fish you’ll see is much higher!

I’ve added the patterns we used that day to land the fish this time around. Let me know what you think about this format—I’ll still be tweaking it for a while.
