UCL Injury Symptoms

Описание к видео UCL Injury Symptoms

Sudden "pop", pain on inside of elbow after a period of heavy throwing, pain when accelerating arm forward just before releasing the ball, inability to continue throwing, and tingling or numbness in pinky and ring fingers are some of the UCL (Ulnar Collateral Ligament) injury symptoms.

Dr. Derek Papp, Sports Medicine Physician with Miami Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute, explains a lot of these players will have some discomfort inside the elbow and then something will happen. "They'll feel a pop, or a snap, or some weird twinge, and they lose control, they lose velocity, and they're not able to throw like they were throwing before."
