Partner, Bill Rossick, gives us a glimpse into the Travis County Center for Child Protection, the only non-profit in Travis County that is involved in the prosecution and investigation of crimes involving children. Bill is very involved at the center, as well as our North Austin office, which recently helped paint the conference room at the center, helping to spruce up the facility.

The center offers features such as the Kids Closet, an example of the Center for Child Protection's multidisciplinary approach--offering multiple services under one roof. The Kids Closet can offer toys, clothes, shoes, a backpack, and other resources.

Bill is part of the Guardian Angel Society, which are people who have dedicated funds every year to support the center. Bill is also a part of the board of directors, helping ensure children in Travis County and beyond are protected and given opportunities they may not have had previously.

Every day, the Center serves approximately 3-5 new children who have either been physically abused, sexually abused, or have witnessed a violent crime. They arrive at the Center, bravely tell their story to a professional, and begin their journey to justice and healing. Without the support of the Travis County community, this opportunity wouldn’t be possible for these young victims.
