CrossFire(CF) is free to play 3D modern age tactical first-person shooter mmo developed by SmileGate and Neowiz.

In Cross Fire players start with 50000 GP(ingame currency) and player can choose from three characters SWAT, OMOH, and SAS all these will cost 4000 GP. Players can purchase crates these "crates" includes several guns + granades etc. these can be bought by using GP or by using real currency ZP in black market, there is also item shop where players can buy weapons and items separately. Most of the items have rank requirements.

There are seven different game modes in Cross Fire, all these modes have their own maps.

Modes:
1.Team Death Match
In this mode players will form two teams maximum of 16 players(8v8) and compete either to get most kills in a certain amount of time or a pre-set amount of kills. Players will respawn after they die.

-Factory -Egypt
-PowerPlant -Arena
-Fortress -Prison

2.Search & Destroy
This mode is similar to TD but the other team has to plant bomb to specific places and the other team tries to prevent them or defuse the bomb, killing all players of the opposing team also ends the game. Players will not respawn until the round is over.

-Ceyhan -Mexico
-Sub Base -The Mine
-DesertStorm -Santoria
-DownTown -Castle


3.Ghost Mode
In Ghost mode one team plays as the "ghosts", this team is invisible when standing still and translucent while moving. Ghosts may only use knives, but one hit kills the player. Players will not respawn until the round is over.

-Hakenkreuz -Metro
-Complex

4.Elimination
In Elimination mode each team must kill all members of the opposing team to win the round. The side that reaches the pre-set amount of rounds, is considered the victor.

-Colombia -CrossRoad
-Arena -Alaska
-Prison

5.Free For All
In Free For All mode all players are against others the game is over, when one of the player has reached the pre-set amount of kills.

-BlackWidow -Port

6.Mutation Mode
1-2 players are infected and turned into mutants depending on how many players are in the game, the number of infected mutants changes. An infected mutant will begin with 4000-6000 HP. When a person is hit by mutant, he/she will become a mutant with 2000 HP. The game ends when the time is up or all mutants are defeated or if all players are turned into mutants.

-Excavation -Re. Facility

7.Escape Mode
This newest game mode, in this mode one team must "escape" through a portal while the other team tries to prevent them. There are walls and doors that can be destroyed, at half time the teams switch sides.

Maps:
-Temple Ruins -Command Ops

8.Special Mode
This mode is fully manipulated by the player.
