Here is a fun, quick little video series we did for the Chico State Housing Office. While they loved the videos we did on their residential halls in 2011, they wanted videos that highlighted the students that lived in the halls. We brainstormed, and they went with an almost Conan O'Brien style walk and talk tour through the halls, with Chico State's own Jeff, the Awkward Freshman.

The idea of these videos is to send them to incoming students who are having a hard time deciding which hall to live in. They've each got their own vibe, so the only way to really communicate the feel of each was to barge in and meet the students. We think it worked out pretty well.

It's one of the hardest decisions you've got to make coming to college: What residence hall you're going to live in while with us at Chico State. That's why we've grabbed Jeff, the Awkward Freshman and followed him as he walks through the various residential communities of Chico State.

In this episode, Jeff takes a look at Esken and Mechoopda Halls. They're twin halls in the North Campus area of... campus. For those asking, Mechoopda is the evil twin... There. That won't cause any arguments.

With Chico State's University Housing and Food Service (UHFS) input and direction, we created this video to help incoming students make informed decisions about what hall they might want to live in while staying with us during their time at CSU, Chico.
