Jumana Odeh is the founder and director of the Palestinian Happy Child Center (PHCC), a non-governmental organization in Ramallah that promotes the well-being of children with special needs. The centre promotes early screenings, diagnoses, specialized care, therapy and support for parents and caregivers, who often struggle with how to care for their handicapped children. The centre also provides information for the public in a region that does not always recognize disabilities.
Dr. Odeh has built an impressive career in Palestine and beyond, throughout which she has demonstrated an innovative and strategic vision to aid the most vulnerable of society.

جمانة عودة هي مؤسسة ومديرة “مركز الطفل الفلسطيني السعيد" "بي أتش سي سي“، وهي منظمة غير حكومية في رام الله تعمل على تعزيز رفاهية الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. يشجع المركز الفحوصات المبكرة والتشخيصات والرعاية المتخصصة والعلاج والدعم للآباء ومقدمي الرعاية، الذين غالباً ما يعانون من كيفية رعاية أطفالهم المعوقين. يوفر المركز أيضاً معلومات للعموم في منطقة لا تتعرف دائماً على الإعاقات. أقامت الدكتورة عودة مسيرة مهنية رائعة في فلسطين وخارجها، حيث أظهرت خلالها رؤية مبتكرة واستراتيجية لمساعدة الفئات الأكثر ضعفاً في المجتمع.
