STORYLINE:
A downtown avenue in Mexico City was once again the stage on Saturday of a march in which hundreds of nudists celebrated the human body.

Starting from the city's Fine Arts Palace and to the shout of 'Ready, time to undress,' the march began and continued for several hundred meters.

According to the organizers, nudists of all ages demonstrated to remove the morbid curiosity and taboo surrounding the naked body.

"We are all born with a body and there is nothing wrong with it, and we do not have to feel ashamed or hide it," said Héctor Martínez.

At the end of the march, the event included yoga classes, laughter therapy, and even a capoeira dance and martial arts class.

Forty-year-old photographer Flor Cortés reflected on how Mexicans perceive the exposure of the naked body.

"That's how God made us; that's how nature made us. Why not enjoy our body, and why not enjoy life naked?" she said.
