Despite low expectations, this has easily become my favorite shoes to hoop in so far this year… Cushion is about average at best: full-length Air Strobel in the midsole gives you a subtle bounce and moderate responsiveness, but nothing crazy. Traction - also average, slightly better than the Tatum 1 but I wish they had put more rubber or traction pods instead of the foam outsole. Materials saw an improvement with the stability and lockdown, while weight became heavier than before. I’d recommend going half size down or true to size for the best fit, there’s no need to size up at all. Long story short, for someone like me - performance is more than enough, easy and fun to use with great comfort over the long term.
