Hi! I have a quick challenge for you—I’m going to give you 3 sentences, and I want you to decide which sentences are punctuated correctly, and which sentence, or sentences, contain punctuation errors.
1. JFK was president from 1961 - 1963.
2. We learn three languages at school – German, French and Italian
3. Today – if you watch this lesson – you will learn how to use dashes perfectly.
Okay, so, all three sentences contained punctuation errors, and sentence one, contained two errors!

Today I have a very useful punctuation lesson for you: DASHES (plural), and the HYPHEN.
So there are actually THREE different horizontal lines we need to know about!
