Chavand Fort is located near Chavandwadi Village in Junnar Taluka in Pune District of Maharashtra, India.
Chavandwadi is the base village of Chavand Fort which is about 16km from Junnar and 170km from Mumbai. Chavand fort also known as Prasannagad or Chamunda. Chavand provides a panoramic view of the Sahyadri Mountain Range. There is Chavand Devi temple on top of Chavand fort.
Chavand fort was surrounded by Manikdoh Dam which is famous for camping. Chavand fort provides a great view of Nimgir-Hanumandgad, Naneghat, Jivdhan, Hadsar, Harishchandragad, Shivneri Fort.
