From the observations of art creations here, the antiquity of the shrine is evident. This ancient beautiful, quiet looking and miracle working idol of Sri Mahavir Bhagwan manifested itself at the house of local Raval Sri Jala Teja on Sunday, Shravan Sukla 9 in Vikram year 1966, After building a magnificent temple, the idol was ceremonially installed therein on Vaishakh Sukla 6 in Vikram year 1974 by the hands of Sri Acharya Siddhasensuriji Maharaj. Thereafter in Vikram year 1991, five other idols were discovered from under the earth in this place which shows that in the past here, there may have been existing many Jain temples.

Many miracles started happening in this area after the manifestation of the miracle working idol of Sri Mahavir Bhagwan where after thousands of devotees began visiting the shrine. The idol was installed in another temple before its ceremonial installation and consecration in the present temple.

There is one another Jain temple in this village where the Presiding Deity is Sri Dharamnath Bhagwan. This idol is also of an ancient one.

In this temple as well as in the temple of Sri Dharamnath Bhagwan, idols discovered from under the earth are installed and the art displayed on all these idols is worth seeing.
