FundaMentally about Adult ADHD: Diagnosis & Management

Описание к видео FundaMentally about Adult ADHD: Diagnosis & Management

Everybody, to some extent and at certain times, occasionally has trouble sitting still, paying attention, or controlling impulsive behaviour, many others experience impulsivity, hyperactivity, and inattention at such mal-adaptively high levels that their daily lives at home, and in social settings are disrupted to a considerable and sometimes disabling extent. These people may have a common neurobiological disorder called Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It’s estimated that 4.4% of adults in the US have ADHD. Astoundingly, 41.3% of adult ADHD cases are considered severe. Yet this topic is not being given much attention. During the webinar we’ll dive deep into this neglected topic.
The meeting will be divided into two parts: 45-minute presentation and panel discussion.
You’ll learn about the mechanisms underlying ADULT ADHD, possible causes & related risks. You’ll be given an insight into the differential diagnosis procedure and individualised approach to the patient. Finally, you’ll be provided with the overview of multiple therapies ranging from the pharmaceutical interventions to the behavioral approaches from the perspective of experienced clinician.
