Each of these rock licks includes the blues or flat 5 note. They are all easily repeatable and can be mixed together for a more exciting sound! The reason I say you must have them in your bag of licks is because they are so easy to use when improvising! Each one can go into the next and you will have no trouble using them to help you construct solos! On top of that, the blues note also helps them have that slightly outside sound, but in a rocky way!
