Stam Fine Reviews jumps ahead to the 2005 relaunch of Doctor Who starring Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper. After a looooong gap, the Doctor and his TARDIS were back on the BBC, along with a new companion, Rose Tyler.
New showrunner Russell T. Davies brought with him a new way of looking at the show- modernising it, knocking through here, putting in a window there, lick of paint, new wallpaper, new curtains, new Doctor. And with that, the series was back with a vengeance.
