Videogames are a part of our lives nowadays, being one of the most popular cultural products. The amount of public interested in this market is growing year by year, and is attracting the attention of people from different gender, backgrounds and cultures. In this talk I present how we can use all this interest in videogames to attract people into participate in social experiments, by providing them with free games designed to study specific aspects of the human behavior. This has allowed us to create a new type of low cost experimentation that is able to reach a massive public and is actually providing very surprising scientific results.

PhD in physics from the University of Barcelona. He did a three-year postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University, where he is still actively working. Currently a professor of Computer Engineering. He did a master of new technologies and communications at the University of Murcia.
