The Rebirth of Her Old Clothes: A Slow Fashion Documentary

I am honored to be able to participate in the production of the slow fashion documentary directed by Xia Yue, a master's student at the University of Sydney!

"The Rebirth of Her Old Clothes" is an independent documentary about clothing recycling and reuse. Using consumerism and feminism as threads, it tells the story of contemporary female fashion consumers gaining insight into the pitfalls of fast fashion. It explores clothing choices from various dimensions such as environmentalism, charity, aesthetics, etc. Female creators, using clothing as a medium and creativity as a tool, give birth to artistic clothing, promoting the spread of new concepts. In the world of pervasive consumerism, they influence aesthetics that are not entangled, more confident personalities, freer will, a better natural environment, and a fairer distribution of social resources.
