💬 Modding is a really powerful feature you can add to your games that can make them take a life of their own. Players have built some truly impressive things with modding.
In theory adding modding to your game is relatively simple. You just need to dynamically load some assets, then give the player a UI to add some rules or logic to those assets, create the final mod and load it during regular gameplay.
The specifics for each of those steps will vary from game to game, so here is a high level overview and one specific example using my game Kitchen Chaos which was made during my Free Complete Course.
