Technical Breakdown of the Process:
Graphite Extraction: The tutorial starts by shaving a soft grade pencil (2B to 6B) with a precision blade to create fine graphite dust.

Gradient Sky Application: The collected dust is applied and blended into the paper’s fibers to establish a smooth, seamless sky gradient.

Structural Outline: The primary tree subject is sketched with focus on organic growth patterns and structural balance.

Layering & Depth: Using vertical and directional pencil strokes, I build layers of shadow on the tree trunk to create a 3D cylindrical form.

High-Contrast Foliage: "Soft" grade pencils are used with varied pressure to create dense leaf clusters and dark shadows at the river’s edge.
