CHATEAU OSLAVANY TO BRNO 🚗 POV DRIVE [4K HDR 60 FPS] – 🌤️ MAY 2024

Oslavany is a castle in the town of Oslavany in the district of Brno-Venkov, which today serves as a museum. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

In 1992 the castle was transferred to the town of Oslavany and in 1996 the town managed to get the Oslavany castle included in the state programme for the preservation of architectural heritage. The roofs and arcades of the castle were repaired, the remains of insensitive archaeological investigations in the castle monastery were removed, and last but not least, the tower above the chapel was repaired (2003). The west wing is being reconstructed, which currently houses the Municipal Castle Brewery and Restaurant. Furthermore, the south wing is being reconstructed, which currently houses the Museum of Firefighting, Mining and Energy. Since 1999, the Historic Oslavany Festival has been held every September at the castle.
