Scottish Summer: A Road (Train) Trip through Scotland in July

For the summer holidays in 2023, my family went on a trip around Scotland for two weeks. We started in Edinburgh, then took the train to Mallaig, sailed over to Isle of Skye, took the bus to Inverness, then the train to Aviemore, before finally going back to Edinburgh (including a daytrip to pretty Stirling and especially Stirling Castle).
