The Republic of Vanuatu (formerly the New Hebrides) was once colonised by the British and French during the 18th to 20th century, until it's independence in 1980. This video, taken from a film produced by ORTF, shows a local string band playing (using bamboo pipes along with guitars) and singing to both anthems.
