The GameCube and Xbox releases can load files in their extracted form, letting me tweak things. I spent a while adjusting the player handling file to make the controls and interactions a lot less stiff and unresponsive. The game engine seems like it was made for this originally due to how natural it feels, however certain things weren't fine-tuned for it. Rails are already quite buggy (randomly bailing at the end of grinds, at the start of grinds, or really at any part of grinds) and this makes them harder to use, but overall it feels unrestrictive and makes tight trick lines possible, as well as making them look and feel impressive.
