The filmmaker is on a bus crossing a country road in northern Croatia. The film was shot before Yugoslavia was divided into separate republics.
During a stop of the bus, we see the giant monument of the anti-Nazi and anti-fascist struggle, during World War II, with the statue of the national symbol of the Resistance in the war, Stefan Filipovic. The monument does not exist today.
Arrival in Kumrovec, a village which is alongside the Croatian-Slovenian borders, the birthplace of the President of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia for decades, until his death in 1980, Marshal Josip Broz Tito.
A man, who is in front of a farmhouse, photographs the village and then we see the house where Tito was born, which has been turned into a Museum in the memory of the Partisan Marshal. A large number of visitors, a sign that says "Here comrade Tito was born", the statue of the, then, President Tito.
Subsequently we see some shots from the plain and the surrounding mountains, the camera records crowds of people visiting the country's first School of Political Learning, with lectures and conferences on Socialism and Marxism, founded by Tito in 1975. The building is a typical example of Yugoslav modernist architecture.
