Learn how to play Gimme All Your Lovin', as performed by ZZ Top & Billy Gibbons from their Eliminator album. I recently went to see a GREAT guitar player play live here in Nashville - Guthrie Trapp (check him out), he is friends with Billy Gibbons who was there with us in this tiny 20ish person club to watch the Guthrie Trapp trio tear it up. Billy is a super nice guy in addition to being such a blues-rock guitar treasure, and we're all lucky to be living at a time where he shares his gifts with us all. It got me thinking..."I need to do WAY more ZZ Top songs" so, here you go.

The lesson covers the rhythm and lead guitar parts. Billy always has a knack for playing the hookiest riffs and lead phrases ever, and this song is a brilliant example. Every lead phrase he has in here in my opinion is pretty much ordained by Almighty God to land exactly how it is - which notes, played in that way, in the place they fall.
