In this video we walk through the OEM steps to change the transmission fluid and pan/filter on a 2014-2025 Dodge Durango and Jeep Cherokee with an 8-Spd 8HP70 transmission. We also talk about the importance of making sure you use the correct Mopar 8 & 9 speed transmission fluid and a new Mopar pan which comes with an integrated filter built into the pan. In addition, we show the correct OEM tightening sequence/torque spec for the plastic transmission pan and walk through the process to check the transmission fluid level to make sure you do the job the correct way! This process is nearly identical for various other Dodge, Chrysler, and Ram vehicles with the 8HP70 transmission including Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger and Charger, Jeep Cherokee and Wagoneer, and Ram 1500, 2500, & 3500. #mopar
