One of the reasons I love Uriah Heep is because of Gary Thain's basslines on the "Demons And Wizards" album. Personally, I think his choice of notes, timing and melody is right up there with Chris Squier and Geddy Lee. Sadly, he was another talented musician who became part of the "27 club". This video is my tribute to him.

We used the arrangement from the 1973 "Uriah Heep Live" album as a template for this project because we all liked the live energy and the synth solo there. We also wanted to include some audio elements from the studio version as well, so we added piano and a lead guitar harmony back into the mix.

It's taken 4 years to complete this video. Many delays on all of our parts along the way but we never gave up. It has been a labor of love for all of us and we hope you enjoy it :)
