Manager’s Thoughts
We played some really good football today — our passing and movement were excellent, and it was the best game Taslim has played for the club so far. Every single player contributed to the result, and although we were unlucky to concede late on, it’s a valuable learning moment for us.
Lucas was superb — playing as a right winger, defender, and striker. He may not have scored, but his assist for Taslim’s third goal, tireless work rate, and defensive contribution were outstanding. He also played a big part in creating our fifth and best goal of the day.
Recognition
🏆 Coach’s Player of the Match – Noah P
Had an offside goal ruled out but made a real impact with his assist for Jacob’s long-range strike. Worked tirelessly, showed great dribbling and skill on the wing, and demonstrated brilliant attitude after coming back from a knock to continue in the second half. Excellent in and out of possession — and listened really well.
👏 Parents’ Player of the Match – Samuel (chosen by Bojo, Noah E’s dad)
His best performance yet for the team. Dominant in midfield — winning tackles, intercepting play, and passing intelligently. He nearly grabbed two goals himself and showed tremendous energy and confidence throughout.
