Mark Fulford is an international consultant on Organic Farming. His farm in Monroe has hosted one of my bee yards for some years. Today we chatted about why the buckwheat next to my hives produce lots of nectar and yet I have had hives in huge fields of buckwheat that produced no nectar. Mark explains why and we discuss a lot of other companion plantings he does to help his farm and my bees.
