There is more to the backstory of the mask that i found out from the writing lead of God of War Ragnarok. Details that from what i have seen, noone has noticed. Secrets that hint towards the masks past, where the mask came from, who made the mask. This can tell us what we might predict of the future of the God of War series and where it may go.

So we need to talk about the mask, because there is some stuff to break down here that is pretty interesting
including some backstory that hints at a future that i managed to get from matt sophos, the writing lead on god of war ragnarok.
I was happy to get that because i did go on a bit of a rollercoaster with my thoughts on the mask during the game. So we are going to get into that,
