We went on our first carnival cruise, and we had a great time. My family had never been on a cruise before, so we enjoyed many first on this trip.

We did the 7 night sail from Baltimore, MD to Bahamas - Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and Freeport.

We enjoyed late nights and early mornings, game shows and sing alongs, nightclubs, and day spas, as well as time off the ship to experience local Bahamian treats.

✨️ You are in an enclosed space with strangers. Bring sanitizer, sprays, and medication to combat sickness.

✨️ Dramamine is your friend. Take it before sailing and during the days after to ensure you don't get motion sickness. Most nights were calm, but the sea can get choppy.

✨️ If you can get a balcony room, do it. Well worth the money and views

✨️Do not add your debit card for your sail and sign card. Use a credit card or load cash from ATM machine. Avoid those hold fees

✨️The bubbles package was good when the kids wanted soda, but we barely used it. We were fine with the complimentary apple/orange juice, lemonade, water, coffee, hot chocolate, and tea

✨️The Cheers package is for DRINKERS, lol. If you not doing 15 drinks a day, just buy singles at the bar.

✨️Gratuities are included in most sales. Makes you rethink adding "gratuities" to your package to tip workers. Next time, we will just tip cash.

✨️Let your kids enjoy the amenities. There are kids camps for all to enjoy while the parents play. Our twins enjoyed Camp Ocean while our teenager enjoyed the O2 club. He made friends on board that he hung out with.
