Here is another episode of Parsha with Rabbi Kravitz. This week is Shabbat Chol Hamoed Sukkot. The Torah and Haftora reading is a special selection for Shabbat Chol Hamoed.

Close to the end of the reading, the Jews are commanded to observe the three festivals -- including the holiday of Sukkot, "the festival of the ingathering, at the turn of the year." All males are commanded to make pilgrimage to "be seen by G‑d" during these three festivals. The maftir, from the Book of Numbers, discusses the public offerings brought in the Temple on this day of Sukkot. The Haftarah is from Ezekiel Chapter 38 verses 18 - 39:16. This section of the prophet discusses the war of Gog and Magog.
