In sales, every second counts. Why waste time on naming conventions when you can automate it? Streamline your success with default deal names in HubSpot. Watch this video to learn how to set it up!

Accessing Deal Settings:
1. Log into your HubSpot account.
2. Click the settings icon in the top navigation bar.
3. In the left sidebar, select 'Objects,' then choose 'Deals.'

Customizing the 'Create Deal' Form:
1. Under the "Creating deals" section, click on "Customize the 'Create deal' form." This will open the form editor for creating deals.
2. In the left sidebar of the form editor, click on "Add default values" to configure the default name for new deals.

Editing and Personalizing Default Deal Names:
1. To edit an existing default name, click the pencil icon next to "Deal name."
2. Click on Personalize to add personalization tokens to the name.
3. From the type dropdown menu, choose the object with the property you want to use as a token.
4. In the Token dropdown menu, select the property whose value you want to populate the token.
5. Click "Insert" to add the chosen token to your default deal name.
6. Click Update to save your changes.

Removing Default Deal Names:
1. To remove the default name, click the delete icon next to the name field.
2. A confirmation dialog box will appear. Click "Remove" to confirm the deletion.
3. With no default name set, the name field will be blank for new deals, allowing you to enter a name manually.
4. Once you've finished customizing the default name, click "Save" to apply your changes.

With these simple steps, you can ensure every new deal is automatically named according to your desired convention, saving you time and reducing manual entry errors.
