Vanilla Cake by Kisses

Ingredients:
Flour - 3 Cups
Sugar - 1 1/4 Cups (N.B: Sugar can be reduced, as this cake tends to be really sweet).
Baking Powder - 3 Teaspoon
Baking Soda - 1/4 Teaspoon
Salted Butter - 2 Sticks
Eggs - 3 Large
Milk - 1 1/4 Cup
Canola Oil - 1/2 Cup
Vanilla - 1 Tablespoon

Instructions:
IMPORTANT NOTE - To achieve the best yummy vanilla cake texture, all cold ingredients (butter, eggs, milk) MUST be at room temperature or a little warm.

Get three 8" cake pans ready and heat your oven to 335º F/168º C .

In the bowl of your mixer, add the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda) and combine, with the mixer at low speed.

Gradually add chunks of your butter until done, then mix lightly until it resembles a coarse sand

Combine some of the milk (1/2 cup) with all the oil, and set aside. Add the milk/oil mixture to the flour mixture, mix on medium for 2 full minutes.

Whisk eggs and add to the remaining milk. Also add the vanilla to the mixture. Gradually add the egg and milk mixture into the flour/butter mixture while mixing on low, until fully combined.

Divide the batter into the greased cake pans, bake for about 30 minutes and perform a toothpick test to verify your cake is done.

Remove the cakes from the oven onto a cooling rack.

Carefully wrap cakes in plastic wrap and place them into the fridge or freezer, depending on when they are needed.
