Storing Pasta in Mylar (long-term food storage)

In less than 15 minutes I put away eight packages of pasta, these were all whole grain and packed full of calories. There is a wonderful thing to add to your long-term food storage it will last a decade or more when stored correctly in an oxygen Free-zone and temperatures below 70 always best.

There are Multiple meals that you can make to satisfy your hungry family. I have to make goulash which could include elbow macaroni, spaghetti, mac & cheese, and of course pasta salads and such.

I purchased my mylar bags and oxygen absorbers along with that handy-dandy mini sealer. You can use a hair straightener or an iron works great as well to see you mylar bags.
