(Possible) basal theropod that lived in the Late Triassic (about 214 million years ago) in what is now New Mexico, U.S. (Hayden Quarry of Ghost Ranch)
Looked like a theropod
Walked on two legs, had sharp teeth, a long tail, elongated head
Has features like a bunch of dinosaurs. Skull is similar to coelophysoids and ilium (upper part of pelvis) is similar to herrerasaurids
Had unique features including on the femur, tibia, ankle bones, foot bones
Relatively slender
Had a long femur compared to its tibia
Had long, large claws and sharp, serrated teeth
Had a kink in its upper jaws (between the premaxilla and maxilla)
Upper jaw looks like Herrerasaurus, and snout looks like Coelophysis
Described as being the size of a large dog, though with a much longer tail
Estimated to be over 8 ft (about 2.5 m) long and weigh 33 lb (15 kg)
Fossils found in 2004
Described in 2009 by Sterling Nesbitt and others
