The setting time of filling will change according to the type of filling we did. For example, if we did Silver Colored Amalgam Filling, it takes a full 24 hours to settle up. Till that must not bite anything hard. If we did GIC Filling, it would settle up within half an hour to one hour. Then we can eat anything. Perhaps it is a Composite Filling material, it will be cured with blue-coloured UV light and immediately the filling will be settled up. So that you can eat anything after leaving the Dental Office.
