You've seen them around the city on bikes, mopeds, or on foot. Wausau PD's Community Service Officer (CSO) program has certainly grown throughout the years. What used to be just a couple of extra helpers during the summer, has blossomed into a unit of about 9-12 CSO's each year. They provide an extra presence in our parks and downtown area, assist with animal control calls, patrol parking structures, etc.

We are grateful for the work our CSO's do for our community! Feel free to say hello when you see them out and about!
