Feeling at home

These Firethroats were introduced into the tank nine days ago together with the A Pulcher. It turns out that there are one female and three males.
Right behind this piece of driftwood the intake tube of the filter is located, so even if they are not eaten by the angels the fry are most likely eaten by the filter

I have to fix that. ( ratio males vs females ), I mean.

Two of the three ( very small ) Aequidens Pulcher mated about three days ago at the back of the tank and deposited the eggs on a small leaf.
They really are far too small to be mating ( three cm/1,18 inch ).
When I panned to the right I expected to catch the prospective parents in full battle colours, but ofcourse this time they did not show themselves.

I am not going to interfere. They will have to get by on the infusoria in the tank.
