Monster Thickness Panerai 44mm Strap "Maker's Speciale" 100% Handcrafted Walnut Tan on PAM00775

This thick and substantial tan Panerai strap is 100% hand made and hand stitched, as with all of my straps. For this project, I selected an Italian vegetable tanned leather of soft and pliable temper. This leather has a deep walnut tone with a smooth surface and raw edges. This strap is of a medium-soft temper and easily conforms to the wrist after multiple wears. Due to it’s vegetable tanning, this strap has a slight shine to the surface that will only improve with time and wear. I selected a thick French origin ivory colored thread for the stitching on this strap. The individually punched and closely spaced buckle pin holes are a unique design element to this strap. In addition, the edges of this strap are not creased, lending a more classic and simple appearance to the strap.

This strap features a thickness of 4.9mm. I designed this strap with one floating keeper and one fixed. Furthermore, the classic tone of this soft tan Panerai strap make it a perfect match for basically any dial and indication color combination. Above you can see the strap pictured beside the PAM00775 Luminor Base 44mm. The white stitching goes especially well with white dials. This strap ships by default with a flat GPF style pin buckle that is sewn in place (pictured). Additionally, you may select from a variety of other buckle options using the “buckle style” drop down menu above. Due to the thickness of this strap, maintaining a sewn pin buckle is highly recommended. For your reference, the strap in the photos above measures a custom 135mm/82mm.
