This is a video of the progress of the Mirage Las Vegas transformation to the Hard Rock Las Vegas. The original Mirage building will not be torn down. It will be remodeled and rebranded as the Hard Rock and a new guitar shaped hotel tower will be built closer to Las Vegas Blvd in the area around the old Mirage Volcano. You can see in the video how they have now drained out all of the water in front of the property. I will try to get out here to do a weekly update on the demolition and transformation of the property. This way we can see the demolition of the Volcano and removal of the landscaping as they prepare the area for the new guitar tower construction.
