On my channel @DIYDollArtist I show how to restore many different types of dolls, most of them are vintage dolls. One of the most unique dolls is the Ideal Toni doll made form 1949-1956. There were 6 sizes P90-P94 which meant they were 14" - 22 1/2" tall. The "P" stood for plastic as these dolls are made out of hard plastic. They had a unique wig made just for them out of nylon. These nylon wigs allowed the child to wash, set, style and even give the doll a pretend perm as many times as they wanted. They came in many different outfits, hair colors, the red shades and black are the most rare. Look for the other short that I posted with more information on these wonderful dolls.

We want to teach you some of the techniques so that you can repair your doll, and have confidence doing it. The restoration of these vintage dolls can come in many different ways, some we find at shops, some are found and given to us to restore, and some just need a little love.
