Learn how to delete Instagram private messages or conversations.
Just like any other social platform, you can send and receive messages on Instagram. Sometimes you'd like to delete that particular message you sent or a message you just received.

There's no direct way to delete received messages on Instagram. If you want to delete a message you sent, you just tap and hold the message and select Unsend message.

If you'd like to delete the received messages on a particular conversation, you'll be required to delete the entire conversation. You can only like or report messages that you received.

How To Delete Instagram Private Messages
Launch Instagram
Swipe left to access the Instagram DMs
Find the conversation you'd like to delete
Tap and hold on the conversation
Tap on 'Delete' from the menu that appears
Select 'Delete' again to confirm the changes
