Following the second NEC Solutions Showcase, exhibitors and visitors alike agreed that the event provided a unique forum to exchange ideas and to experience a vast range of innovative technology solutions, all under one roof.

Attracting close to 300 visitors representing a good mix of integrators and end users, the 2010 Showcase focused on the five key areas of education, control rooms, digital signage, professional office environment and digital out of home. Within each interactive zone, NECs Solutions Partners pioneers within the displays industry who offer superior expertise within their field, demonstrated using real life scenarios a variety of innovative technology solutions. Uniquely, by focusing on application rather than product, the event nurtured an environment to exchange ideas and provide inspiration for new areas of application.

Held on Thursday 22nd April within Studio 6 at the BBC Studios in Wood Lane, NEC were demonstrating how the strength and breadth of their relationship with their Solutions Partners enables them to offer a Total Display Solution to their customers. Through the integration of NECs screen technology with the technology of often multiple Solutions Partners, the reseller and vitally the end user, benefits from this harmonisation and cooperation to provide the definitive solution tailored to the application.

Jeremy Stewart of TeamMate who where showing their latest touch table solution said of the Showcase, it is a unique event with nothing else like it to provide a fantastic environment of cutting edge technology under one roof. The marketing of the Show has been excellent and we have seen a high quality audience generating serious discussion. Jeremy added. It is a great forum to exchange ideas and to open your eyes to new opportunities. Today we have found an interesting new application for our touch table within high end automotive showrooms simply through discussions with another exhibiting Partner who provide content software.

Jon Knight of visiting NEC authorised reseller Smarter Interactive said I have been impressed to see manufacturers going to great efforts to overcome the tricky logistics to bring their often huge products to show.
