Madeline Lee: La Cathédrale for Horn Octet

"La Cathédrale" by Madeline Lee was originally composed for Dr. Bradley Palmer and the Schwob School of Music Trombone Studio. This horn octet arrangement was written for inaugural COLLEGE CORNO, a student horn ensemble experience which is part of NU CORNO, the premiere horn ensemble for the commissioning and presentation of new works for horn ensemble.

The premiere performance of this arrangement took place at the 2024 Mid-South Horn Workshop on March 24, 2024 at Oklahoma State University with an intercollegiate horn ensemble of 16 student musicians from the mid-south region conducted by Steven Cohen, Founder and Artistic Director of NU CORNO.
