Look — far away, almost lost in sunlight’s ocean,
A tiny dot — our fragile little home..
All fates, all dreams, all fear, all hearts’ devotion,
On it they shine or cry — they live and roam..

There live the kings, the beggars by the roadside,
In joy or in pain — with God or none at all..
All wars with flags and horns: all bloody glory —
Are just the dust of time upon this ball..
