Penny with SwissWatchExpo, today I'm looking at a watch that we've just got in stock, and this is an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. It's really exciting whenever we get one, because they don't seem to stick around for too long. They fly off the shelves really fast, and I'm sure this one will be no exception. I chose this one because this is a great piece for someone, a lady who is looking for something that's a little bit larger, a little bit kind of more on the masculine or androgynous side, but they don't want to get up to that giant oversized Audemars Piguet. This is a 35 millimeter case size, so it's a really great, it doesn't overhang too much. It fits really comfortably on a lady's wrist, and I think it looks really great as well. This one is two-tone 18 carat, yellow gold and stainless steel, and Audemars Piguet's stainless steel is always a little bit darker to me.

It leans more towards that gun metal almost, rather than a lighter kind of stainless steel color, and it contrasts really fabulously with this yellow gold. It also has this really deep gray textured dial and these really simple hour markers- which I love- and a date aperture, which is always really nice to have on a watch, and a really nice feature and function. This is the classic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak look, it's this very like masculine kind of more industrial look. I think that contrasts really well. If you are a lady who wears this watch, it's going to look, it's going to pop on your wrist. It's going to look really great. It's not too thick or too chunky, but it just looks really, really fabulous. So if you're looking for a really different watch, a really different two-tone watch that you can put on and wear, but something that's still super iconic and super recognizable, you should definitely check out the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, especially this one, because I'm not sure how long it's going to be around.
