Traditional song that has been recorded by numerous country and folk artists, beginning in 1927. It was first recorded by Cash with the Carter Family on the 1964 album "Keep On The Sunny Side". He recorded it again during the American Recordings sessions and it was released in 2003 on the "Unearthed" box set. It's also been recorded by Joan Baez and Olivia Newton John.
