Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this GE Appliances 13,500 Btu white high-efficiency, low-profile RV air conditioner with heat pump. Now, this low-profile, high-efficiency RV AC is designed to give you an additional three inches of clearance in roof height. And it's also going to give you quiet comfort while you're out on the road. So with 13,500 Btus, this RV air conditioner is gonna be great for your smaller RVs. And the high-efficiency cooling performance is going to maintain consistent air flow and temperature control with reduced energy consumption.
As I mentioned, this does have a built-in heat pump, which is going to keep your coach warm on those chilly mornings. It's going to efficiently use the heat in the air to warm your coach on days as cold as 25 degrees Fahrenheit. And at 35 degrees Fahrenheit, you can extend your propane supply by 19 to 38% by reducing the need to run your furnace. So then when conditions get too cold for the heat pump to work efficiently, it's gonna automatically switch over to your furnace. And this also features on auto defrost cycle to prevent ice from building up on the heat exchanger.
So you're really going to enjoy its ultra quiet operation thanks to the high-performance motor, the dual fan design, and the sound dampening rubber-grommets that are going to work together to minimize vibration throughout your RV. I went ahead and took some measurements before our time together. Looking at the overall length, we are sitting at 40 inches long, the overall width, 30 inches wide. And again, this is a low-profile design. So the overall height from top to bottom, about 11 inches.
This is gonna be a bolt-on design. But this is just going to be for the AC unit only. This is not going to include any hardware. So to complete this setup, you will need an air distribution box, a control box and thermostat. And typically that air distribution box will have that hardware that you need to get this installed.
And you're gonna have to get the air distribution box that's gonna work best with your system, whether that's ducted or ductless. And we do carry complete systems with this air conditioner unit. So if you need the entire setup, whether it's for your ducted or ductless, you can find that complete system here at etrailer, if you need that. But this is gonna be built to last. The UV-coated automotive grade polymer shroud is going to do a great job of resisting fading and cracking. And it's a very durable cover it feels like, so I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. While the corrosion resistant coatings, the heavy duty motor supports, and the reinforced screw holes are going to ensure longterm durability for you. And despite its rugged design, the glossy finish is going to help keep this looking sharp for many years to come. So this weighs about 86 pounds or so. And this is all coming from a name brand that you trust, of course, GE Appliances, which no doubt you know and are familiar with, especially with home appliances. So that same trust and reliability that comes from home appliances is gonna be carried over to your RV air conditioner. If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this unit or the systems that we carry, don't hesitate to reach out. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
