Liebherr – Mobile and Crawler Cranes UpLoad 3/2023

Our third edition of the video magazine 2023 starts with a tour de force of gigantic components. For 50 new offshore wind turbines, our first delivered LR 12500-1.0 from the crane company Sarens, together with its little brother LR 1800-1.0, must lift the foundation piers required for this, with a length of 90 meters and a mass of 1360 tons, into the water. Then, in the "Simply explained" category (start 03:28), Jan Walter explains to us what is behind the catch bar plus and what it offers in terms of additional safety. In the following category, "Mobile and crawler cranes" (start 05:41), we show how 12 mobile cranes in Delft, the Netherlands, are assisting in the drilling and insertion of a 1000 m long district heating pipeline. Finally, in the "Total Digital" category (start 09:04), we give a few tips on how a crane operation and its configuration can be quickly planned using a combination of simple tools.
